My name is Izma Anwar, and I am a Bangladeshi Illustrator currently based in New York City.
I love working both digitally and traditionally, incorporating type and motion into my work. I draw inspiration largely from my vibrant Bangladeshi roots, as well as just day-to-day life. With my art, I hope, not only to narrate stories, but also advocate for causes that I believe in, and create a sense of community.
When I am not drawing, you can find me face-timing my sister, reading sad literature, or downing mugs of tea.
